Giant Dawg makes his rounds several times a day around the perimeter of the yard to ensure all is in good order.  He’s an inside dog, but loves his yard and makes sure all is protected. He’ll chase anything out that doesn’t belong ( birds, squirrels, rabbits, etc – or kill them if he catches them ), but anything that is inside that belongs he protects very well.  Even when we had the chickens he knew they were to be protected, not eaten, which is rare for a Pyrenees ( they are well known to kill chickens, even on their own turf ).  He’s a good boy – stubborn, but good.
